71. HARGAS MEMORIAL 2016

The Hargaš Memorial is one of the oldest organized sports events in Slovakia. Its 71st year guarantees a great sports experience for participants and spectators alike. The organizers from VK Tatran Karlova Ves (celebrating the 81st anniversary of its establishment in 1935) and the x-bionic® sphere would like to celebrate this extraordinary event in great style and every fan of canoe is welcome! The Hargaš Memorial is a commemoration of the young athlete and hero, Ivan Hargaš, who died during World War II on 2 October 1944, during miner works on a road in the vicinity of Krivá Okľa. VK Tatran club has honoured his memory since 1946 by organising apaddling marathon to commemorate his character and promote his mission of courage and love of sport among new generations of athletes.

REGISTRATION

Registration Fee: 30 € per person
he registration fee can be paid on 20th of September as a part of the accreditation process directly in the X-BIONIC® SPHERE complex.

Accreditation of competitors: On 20th of September, from 12 am till 10 pm at X-BIONIC® SPHERE.

The announcement of winners and prizegiving ceremony will take place on September 24th, 2016 in X-BIONIC® SPHERE.

HEALTH INSURANCE

All competitors are obliged to take care of their own individual health insurance. The organizer does not accept or take upon himself any responsibility in connection with any potential health of physical damage related to the competitor´s presence and acitivity during the marathon. Every competitor does start and takes part in the competiton on his full own responsibility.

The prize money will be divided among the first 8 boats in the finnish of every category. Each category has its own prize money budget to distribute; as follows:
